Connect ModelBrain to Claude Code

One button, from ModelBrain itself. Open ModelBrain's Client Setup and click Set up Claude Code: it installs the MCP entry, skill, and prompt hook in one idempotent action. Safe to click again later; it just updates.

Steps
  1. Install ModelBrain if you haven't yet (macOS).
  2. Open ModelBrain's Client Setup. From the menu bar / tray icon, choose Client Setup….
  3. Click Set up Claude Code on its card. It installs the managed plugin, MCP entry, skill, and prompt hook in one action, with nothing to confirm and nothing to paste.
  4. Start a new Claude Code session. Existing sessions won't pick up the change; a fresh one will.
Questions

Is there a manual claude mcp add command instead?

The supported path is the Set up Claude Code button: it's idempotent and handles the plugin, MCP entry, skill and prompt hook together. A manual CLAUDE.md fallback exists only as an advanced recovery option, not the normal setup path.

What does "Update available" mean on the card?

ModelBrain updated its bundled plugin since you last set it up. Clicking Set up Claude Code again re-runs the same idempotent install and brings it current.

Does this work per-project or globally?

It's a global setup: once it's done, ModelBrain is available to Claude Code sessions generally, not just one project folder.
