ModelBrain is a memory layer that plugs into the AI assistant you already use and keeps what it remembers on your own computer. It's in beta: the pieces described on this site are built to varying degrees, and we've tried to be plain about which is which rather than let a landing page imply otherwise.
ModelBrain is built by Matthew Firth and operated by NexSpark LLC, a Buford, Georgia company that also runs NexSpark and NexSpark Friends. The two sides are separate products with separate data; nothing from one is used by the other.
ModelBrain started as the memory layer Matthew wanted for his own assistants and couldn't find. No funding announcement, no team page beyond what's here: just the person building it, in the open, and what he publishes about it.
